SUPERANNUATION (RESOLUTION OF COMPLAINTS) ACT 1993 No. 80, 1993 - SECT 34
Tribunal meetings
34. (1) Subject to subsection (2), the Tribunal must conduct a review meeting
without oral submissions from the parties.
(2) The Tribunal may, if it thinks necessary, make an order allowing the
parties to make oral submissions to the Tribunal at the review meeting.
(3) If the Tribunal makes an order under subsection (2), the Tribunal must
give the parties written notice of the date, time and place fixed for making
the oral submissions.
(4) If a party or the party's representative has advised the Tribunal that the
party does not intend to make oral submissions in accordance with an order
made under subsection (2), the Tribunal may conduct the review meeting without
oral submissions from the party.
(5) If a party or the party's representative does not attend the review
meeting at the time fixed for the meeting, the Tribunal may conduct the review
meeting without oral submissions from the party or the party's representative.
(6) If a party attending the review meeting is not proficient in English, the
Tribunal may direct the use of an interpreter.
