SOCIAL SECURITY AMENDMENT ACT 1987 No. 77, 1987 - SECT 14

14. Section 28 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting from subsection (1EA) all the words before "is increased
        by subsection (1B)" and substituting the following:

"Where the maximum rate of age or invalid pension applicable to a married
person whose spouse is in receipt of a pension under this Part, a benefit
under Part IVAAA, an allowance under Part VIIA, an allowance under Part VIII
the annual rate of which is determined by reference to this Part or a service
pension, a wife's service pension or a carer's service pension under Part III
of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986"; and

   (b)  by omitting from subsection (1EA) "$1,300" and substituting "$1,820".
