SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1993 No. 36, 1993 - SECT 16

16. The Rate Calculator in section 1067 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by inserting after paragraph 1067-C2 (e) the following word and
        paragraph:

"; or (f) the person's partner is:

        (i)    in gaol; or

        (ii)   undergoing psychiatric confinement because the partner has been
               charged with committing an offence.";

   (b)  by adding at the end of point 1067-C2 the following Notes:

"Note 3: For 'in gaol' see subsection 23(5). Note 4: For 'psychiatric
confinement' see subsections 23(8) and (9).".
