SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1994 No. 63, 1994 - SECT 12

12. Section 23 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from subsection
(1) the definition of "protected information" and substituting the following
definition:

" 'protected information' means:

   (a)  information about a person that is or was held in the records of the
        Department; or

   (b)  information that there is no information about a person held in the
        records of the Department;".
