SALES TAX LAWS AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1985 No. 144, 1985 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to this section, this Act shall come into operation on the day
on which it receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Parts II and III and section 20 shall be deemed to have come into
operation immediately after the commencement of section 6 of the Sales Tax 
Laws Amendment Act 1985 .

(3) Parts IV, V and VI shall be deemed to have come into operation immediately
after the commencement of the Sales Tax Assessment Act (No. 10)  1985 .

(4) Sections 19 and 21 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20
September 1985.
