TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1991 No. 98 of 1991 - SECT 239

239. (1) AUSTEL must prepare a written plan for the numbering of
telecommunications services in Australia and for the use of numbers in
connection with the supply of such services.

(2) The plan must, among other things:

   (a)  specify the numbers (if any) that have been allocated by AUSTEL to
        each carrier and to any other person; and

   (b)  set out the policies on which the plan is based.

(3) AUSTEL must administer the plan.
