TAXATION LAWS AMENDMENT ACT (No. 4) 1987 No. 138 of 1987 - SECT 66

66. Section 5 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting paragraph (2) (a) and substituting the following
        paragraph:

"(a) the fund was a superannuation fund:

        (i)    if part of the year of income occurred before 1 July 1986-at
               all times during so much of the year of income as occurred on
               or after 1 July 1986 when the fund was in existence; or

        (ii)   in any other case-at all times during the year of income when
               the fund was in existence;"; and

   (b)  by omitting from paragraphs (2) (d) and (e) "this Act" (wherever
        occurring) and substituting " section 1 of the
        Taxation Laws Amendment Act (No.  4) 1987 ".
