VETERANS' AFFAIRS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1987 No. 78 of 1987 - SECT 29

29. Section 111 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end the
following subsections:

"(7) An applicant for a benefit to which this section applies may, at any time
before the application is determined by the Commission, by notice in writing
forwarded to the Commission at an office of the Department in Australia,
withdraw the application.

"(8) The withdrawal of an application for a benefit to which this section
applies does not prevent the applicant from subsequently making another
application for such a benefit.".
