Definition: accumulated debt
5. (1) The accumulated debt is the total amount of the liabilities of Wool
International under borrowings made for the purpose of the purchase of wool
forming part of the wool stockpile, less the amount of any money derived from
the sale of stockpile wool and held by Wool International or represented by

(2) To avoid doubt, it is declared that a reference in subsection (1) to
borrowings made by Wool International includes a reference to borrowings made
by the former Commission, or by the Australian Wool Corporation under the
Wool Marketing Act 1987 , and not repaid before the commencement of this
section.
