AUSTRALIAN SPORTS DRUG AGENCY REGULATIONS 1999 1999 No. 159 - REG 18
Agency to engage an interpreter
- (1)
- This regulation applies if the Agency asks a competitor for a sample under
regulation 17.
- (2)
- If the competitor is unable to receive or understand the request for a
sample (for example, because the competitor is deaf), the Agency may
communicate with the competitor through an interpreter.
- (3)
- If the Agency needs to give notice of the request for a sample to a person
mentioned in paragraph 17 (3) (a), (b), (c) or (d) and that person is
unable to understand English, or otherwise has difficulty communicating in
English, the Agency may communicate with the person through an interpreter.
