1986 No. 46 DEFENCE FORCE DISCIPLINE REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2. Regulation 17 of the Defence Force Discipline Regulations is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from sub-regulation (4) "Sunday, Christmas Day or Good
Friday" and substituting "day of religious observance"; and

   (b)  by adding at the end the following sub-regulation:

"(5) In sub-regulation (4), 'day of religious observance' means Christmas Day,
Good Friday or-

   (a)  in the case of a detainee of a particular denomination, a day
        recognised as the sabbath in that denomination; or

   (b)  in any other case, Sunday.".
