"new law " means the Defence Act 1903 , as in force immediately after the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Defence Legislation Amendment (First Principles) Act 2015 .
"old law " means the Defence Act 1903 , as in force immediately before the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Defence Legislation Amendment (First Principles) Act 2015 .
