1985 No. 114 DEFENCE (INQUIRY) REGULATIONS - REG 25

25. (1) The instrument appointing a Board of Inquiry shall indicate whether or
not the Board is empowered to make recommendations arising from its findings.

(2) Where-

   (a)  the instrument appointing a Board of Inquiry to inquire into a matter
        does not empower the Board to make recommendations arising from its
        findings; or

   (b)  the appointing authority adds a matter to the matters into which a
        Board of Inquiry is to inquire or varies a matter into which the Board
        is to inquire, the appointing authority may, by instrument, empower
        the Board to make recommendations arising from its findings in
        relation to that matter.
