1992 No. 234 HEARING SERVICES REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2.1 After regulation 3, insert: Remuneration and allowances of appointed
members of the Board

"3A. (1) For the purposes of subsection 27 (1) of the Act:

   (a)  the remuneration of the Chairperson is $24,381 a year; and

   (b)  the remuneration of an appointed member other than the Chairperson is
        $9,821 a year.

"(2) For the purposes of subsection 27 (2) of the Act, allowances to be paid
to an appointed member are prescribed at the following rates:

   (a)  for each overnight stay in a capital city-$300;

   (b)  for each overnight stay in a place other than a capital city-$155.".
