E it e n a c t e d by t h e K i n g ' s Most E x c e l l e n t Majesty, by a n d w i t h t h e advice a n d consent of t h e Legislative Council a n d Legislative A s s e m b l y of N e w S o u t h Wales in P a r l i a m e n t assembled, a n d b y t h e a u t h o r i t y of t h e same, as follows : -- 1. This A c t m a y be cited as t h e " L i v e r p o o l M u n i c i p a l L o a n (Amendment) Act, 1905." 2. N o t w i t h s t a n d i n g a n y t h i n g in t h e M u n i c i p a l i t i e s Act, 1897, or t h e Liverpool M u n i c i p a l Loan A c t , 1900, t h e council of t h e m u n i c i p a l district of Liverpool m a y exercise t h e powers of b o r r o w i n g conferred b y t h e l a s t - m e n t i o n e d A c t , or b y section one h u n d r e d a n d sixty-live of t h e first-mentioned A c t , a l t h o u g h t h e m o n e y s borrowed or proposed to be borrowed, or t h e m o n e y s o w i n g b y t h e council, m a y exceed in t h e whole t h e e s t i m a t e d r e v e n u e s of t h e council for five y e a r s : P r o v i d e d t h a t t h e a m o u n t so borrowed shall not exceed twelve thousand pounds.
