An Act t o p r o v i d e for t h e n o m i n a t i o n , election, a n d a p p o i n t m e n t of t h e P a r l i a m e n t a r y S t a n d i n g C o m m i t t e e on P u b l i c W o r k s for t h e p r e s e n t Parliament; to amend the Public W o r k s Act, 1012 ; a n d for p u r p o s e s c o n s e q u e n t t h e r e o n or i n c i d e n t a l t h e r e t o . [Assented to, 6th O c t o b e r , 1920.] BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, I by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-- 1. This Act may be cited as the ''Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works Election Enabling Act, 1920." 2. The nomination, election, and appointment of the members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works for the present Parliament may, notwith standing anything in the Public Works Act, 1912, be made and held in the manner prescribed by the said Act at any time during the second or any subsequent session of the present Parliament.
