2010 No 560 New South Wales Commencement Proclamation under the Electricity and Gas Supply Legislation Amendment (Retail Price Disclosures and Comparisons) Act 2010 No 50 MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Electricity and Gas Supply Legislation Amendment (Retail Price Disclosures and Comparisons) Act 2010, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30 September 2010 as the day on which the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence. Explanatory note The object of this Proclamation is to commence all the uncommenced provisions of the Electricity and Gas Supply Legislation Amendment (Retail Price Disclosures and Comparisons) Act 2010. Those provisions require the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal to publish electricity and gas retail pricing information on its website and require the websites of retail suppliers of electricity and suppliers of natural gas to contain a link to that website.
