2006 No 526 New South Wales Public Lotteries Amendment (Unclaimed Prizes and Keno Payments) Regulation 2006 under the Public Lotteries Act 1996 Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Public Lotteries Act 1996. GRANT McBRIDE, M.P., Minister for Gaming and Racing Explanatory note The object of this Regulation is to amend the Public Lotteries Regulation 2002 to make provision with respect to: (a) the return of unclaimed prize money to lottery subscribers by the lottery licensee, and (b) increasing the maximum cash amount payable for Keno prizes to $2,000. This Regulation is made under the Public Lotteries Act 1996, including sections 27 (9), 39A and 83 (the general regulation-making power). [2] Clause 4 (2) Omit "to which this clause applies". [3] Clause 13 Payment of prize money by cheque or electronic funds transfer Omit "$1,000" wherever occurring in clause 13 (1).
