Registration of Interests in Goods Amendment Regulation 1996

Registration of Interests in Goods Act 1986

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Registration of Interests in Goods Act 1986. Faye Lo PoŽ MP Minister for Fair Trading

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Registration of Interests in Goods Regulation 1994 so as to increase (or impose new) fees for: (a) applications for a variation of recorded information, and (b) registration of interests in prescribed goods, and (c) recording information in the Register relating to boats, and (d) issue of certificates, and (e) account customer applications, and (f) registrable interests inquiries, and (g) transfer of registrable interests, and (h) training programs. This Regulation is made under the Registration of Interests in Goods Act 1986, including sections 5 (1A), 6 (2), 6 (6) (b), 8 (6) and 21 (the general regulation making power and in particular section 21 (1) (a)).

This Regulation commences on 1 February 1997.
