HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Police Service Act 1990, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

TED PICKERING Minister for Police and Emergency Services. The Police Service Regulation 1990 is amended by omitting clause 8.

EXPLANATORY NOTE The object of this Regulation is to omit a provision which stipulates the line of responsibility for police officers engaged on operational duties. The line of responsibility for police officers engaged in operational and other duties is to be set out in instructions (made under section 8 of the Police Service Act 1990) to be issued to members of the Police Service by the Commssioner of Police.
