(Relating to the special speed limit for learner drivers and riders)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Traffic Act 1989, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

WAL MURRAY Minister for Roads. Commencement 1. This Regulation commences on 1st September, 1992. Amendment 2. The Motor Traffic Regulations 1935 are amended by omitting from Regulation 124 (3C) (a) the matter "70 km/h" and by inserting instead the matter "80 km/h".

EXPLANATORY NOTE The object of this Regulations to amend the Motor Traffic Regulations to increase the special speed limit applied to learner drivers and riders from 70 km/h to 80 km/h.
