I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 12th June, 1992 as the day on which the amendments to the Credit (Administration) Act 1984 set out in that Schedule commence. EXPLANATORY NOTE The object of this Proclamation is to commence the amendments to the Credit (Administration) Act 1984 contained in Schedule 1 to the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991. The provisions amend sections 13, 23, 24 and 26 of the Credit (Administration) Act 1984 and relate to the Commercial Tribunal's power to take various forms of disciplinary action against a person holding a credit provider's licence or finance broker's licence under the Act following an inquiry held by the Tribunal.
