ROAD TRANSPORT (SAFETY AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ACT 1999 - NOTES

- As at 1 July 2013 - Act 20 of 1999

Note to Part 1

This Act and the statutory rules made under it form part of the
"road transport legislation" identified by section 5 of the Road Transport (General) Act 2005. Other road transport legislation includes the Motor Vehicles Taxation Act 1988, the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Act 1998, the Road Transport (General) Act 2005, the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act 1997 and the statutory rules made under those Acts. As part of the road transport legislation, this Act is subject to various provisions in the Road Transport (General) Act 2005 concerning the administration and enforcement of the road transport legislation generally.

Repeal:

The Act was repealed by Sch 1 to the Road Transport Legislation (Repeal and Amendment) Act 2013 No 19 with effect from 1.7.2013.
