Approved speed measuring devices

44 Approved speed measuring devices

(cf Traffic Act, ss 2 (1) and 4AB (3))

(1) In this Act, an
"approved speed measuring device" is a device of a type approved by the Governor by order published in the Gazette as being designed to measure the speed at which a vehicle is travelling.
(2) The Minister is not to recommend the making of an order by the Governor for the purposes of subsection (1) except with the concurrence of the Attorney General.
