The Regulation was repealed by sec 10 (2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989 No 146 with effect from 1.9.2012.
Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Regional
Development Act 2004.
Minister for Regional Development
The object of this Regulation is to prescribe the local government areas that constitute the Sydney metropolitan area for the purposes of the Regional Development Act 2004. The Act provides for financial assistance to those areas of New South Wales outside the Sydney metropolitan area.
This Regulation is made under the Regional
Development Act 2004, including sections 4 (1) and 16 (the general regulation-making power).
