Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) For the control of a notifiable disease, the Minister may declare the Territory or a specified area of land in the Territory to be:
(a) a control area; or
(b) a restricted area; or
(c) any other type of area or zone (except a standstill zone) named in the declaration.
(2) The declaration must be by Gazette notice and state whether the notifiable disease is classified as an emergency disease, endemic disease or exotic disease.
