Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Law Society may request a corresponding authority to arrange for the investigation of any aspect of a claim being dealt with by the Society and to provide a report on the result of the investigation.
(2) A report on the result of the investigation received from:
(a) the corresponding authority; or
(b) a person or entity authorised by the corresponding authority to conduct the investigation;
may be used and taken into consideration by the Society in the course of dealing with the claim under this Part.
