Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) An appointed member of the Funds Management Committee may resign office by writing signed by or for the member and given to the Attorney-General.
(2) The Attorney-General may at any time terminate the appointment of an appointed member of the Committee.
(3) Subsection (2) does not limit the power to terminate the appointment of an appointed member of the Committee mentioned in section 661 (1)(c) or (d) by the Chief Executive Officer who appointed the member.
Note for subsection (3)
Under section 44(1) of the Interpretation Act 1978 , the power to appoint a person to an office or position includes the power to terminate the appointment.
