Northern Territory Numbered Acts Northern Territory Numbered Acts(1) Before exercising authority under this Act, a health care decision maker must make a reasonable effort to use any practicable support appropriate to the circumstances to assist the adult in making the health care decision.
(2) A health care decision maker may also consult other persons who may have relevant information before exercising authority under this Act.
