LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2006 (NO 38 OF 2006) - SECT 406

    (1)     The amount payable in relation to a default must not exceed the pecuniary loss resulting from the default.

    (2)     This section does not apply to costs or interest payable under section 407 or 408.
