Northern Territory Numbered Acts Northern Territory Numbered Acts(1) This section applies in relation to a request received by the Law Society from a corresponding authority to arrange for the investigation of any aspect of a claim being dealt with under a corresponding law.
(2) The Society may conduct the investigation.
(3) The provisions of this Part relating to the investigation of a claim apply, with any necessary adaptations, in relation to the investigation of the relevant aspect of the claim that is the subject of the request.
(4) The Society must provide a report on the result of the investigation to the corresponding authority.
