Northern Territory Numbered Regulations Northern Territory Numbered Regulations(1) Without limiting regulation 47 or 2020_6013.html#_Ref33287134">48 , the NT EPA may refuse to accept a referral as a proponent initiated EIS referral if the NT EPA considers that an assessment by environmental impact statement is unlikely to be required for the proposed action or strategic proposal.
(2) If the NT EPA refuses to accept a referral as a proponent initiated EIS referral, it may accept the referral as a referral for a standard assessment or strategic assessment.
