FISHERIES AMENDMENT (SPANISH MACKEREL FISHERY) REGULATIONS 2005 (NO 4 OF 2005) - REG 9

(1)     On the commencement –

    (a)     an unrestricted licence, within the meaning of the old management plan, in force immediately before the commencement continues in force as a restricted licence within the meaning of the new management plan; and

    (b)     a Spanish Mackerel Fishery licence issued under regulation 93(4) of the Fisheries Regulations and in force immediately before the commencement continues in force as an unrestricted licence within the meaning of the new management plan.

(2)     In this regulation –

"commencement" means the commencement of this regulation;

"new management plan" means the Spanish Mackerel Fishery Management Plan that comes into operation on the commencement;

"old management plan" means the Spanish Mackerel Fishery Management Plan repealed by the new management plan.
