An Act to appropriate certain amounts from the consolidated fund for
services of the Parliament in the financial years starting
1 July 1997, 1 July 1998 and 1 July 1999

The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1

Short
1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1998. 3
for 1998-99 4
Supply
2.(1) The Treasurer may issue from the consolidated fund, and apply for 5
services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1998, the sum 6
of $43 910 000. 7
(2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already 8
authorised by the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1997 to be issued from 9
the consolidated fund and applied for services of the Parliament in the 10
financial year starting 1 July 1998. 11

3. The Treasurer may issue from the consolidated fund, and apply for 14
supplementing services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 15

services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1999, the sum 19

5. The Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1995 is repealed. 22
