Clause 1. This Act may be cited as the Liquor (Trading Limitations on Anzac 3
Day) Amendment Act 2000. 4

Clause 2. This Act amends the Liquor Act 1992. 6
of s 9 (Ordinary trading hours) 7
Amendment
Clause 3. Section 9(3)-- 8
omit, insert-- 9
`(3) On Anzac Day, ordinary trading hours for licensed premises, 10
including premises that are a cabaret, do not include any period before 11
1 p.m., other than either of the following periods for sale of liquor to a 12
person to consume on the premises in association with the consumer eating 13
a meal in a part of the premises ordinarily set aside for dining if the meal is 14
prepared, served and intended to be eaten on the premises-- 15
(a) the period between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; 16
(b) the period between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. that the chief executive 17
approves in a particular case.'. 18
