Objectives of the Amendments
The two amendments to the Bill were minor drafting errors, and do not
change the policy objectives of the Bill in any way.

NOTES ON PROVISIONS

Clause], line 13, Page 39, amendment to Public Safety Preservation Act
1986
     Reference to subsection 6(1) amended to subsection 6(2) as the
     existing subsection 6(1) is not omitted until page 40, clause 3 , line
     I & 2.
Clause 11, line 4, page 41, amendment to the Public Safety Preservation
Act 1986
     This clause omits the definition "incident coordinator" in the Schedule
     (Dictionary), however, this definition has already been omitted at page 23,
     clause 17, lines 17 and 18.
