Requirements for application
71AB Requirements for application
(1) A person may apply to the chief executive for the grant of a protected
area authority.
(2) The application must— (a) be in the approved form; and
(b) be supported by enough information to enable the application to be
decided; and
(c) be accompanied by the relevant fee; and
(d) comply with any
other requirements for the application under this regulation.
(3) Subsection
(2) (a) does not apply to an application for a camping permit.
(4) In this
section—
"relevant fee" means— (a) for an application for a commercial activity
permit—the sum of— (i) the application fee payable under chapter 8A for
the permit; and
(ii) the permit fee payable under chapter 8A for the permit;
or
(b) for an application for an organised event permit— (i) the
application fee payable under chapter 8A for the permit; or
(ii) if persons
will be camping under the permit—the sum of the application fee, and the
camping fee for camping, payable under chapter 8A for the permit; or
(c) for
an application for a stock grazing permit—the permit fee payable under
chapter 8A for the first year of the permit; or
(d) for an application for
another authority—the fee payable under chapter 8A for the authority.
