Criteria for deciding application
35 Criteria for deciding application
(1) In deciding whether to approve the application, the chief executive must
consider— (a) any additional information given about the application; and
(b) each of the following that apply to the water licence that is the subject
of the application— (i) a water plan;
(ii) a water management protocol,
including, in particular, the rules stated in the protocol for relocating
water licences;
(iii) water sharing rules mentioned in schedule 5 , to the
extent the rules are about relocating water licences.
(2) Subsection (1) does
not limit the matters the chief executive may consider.
