128 Insertion of new s 343A

After section 343 —
insert—

343A Requirement to notify Family and Child Commission of negative notice

(1) This section applies if—

(a) either—

(i) a negative notice is issued to a person; or

(ii) a person’s negative notice is cancelled; and

(b) the chief executive is aware the person is the subject of a finding of reportable conduct under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 , chapter 3.

(2) The chief executive must give the commission under the Child Safe Organisations Act 2024 a written notice stating that the negative notice has been issued to, or cancelled for, the person.
