36 Navigating vessel in go slow area for natural and cultural resources

(1) A person must not do any of the following in the go slow area for natural and cultural resources—

(a) navigate a vessel in a planing or non-displacement mode;

(b) navigate a vessel for a motorised water sport;

(c) navigate a vessel at a speed greater than 6 knots.

Penalty—

Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.

(2) However, subsection (1) does not apply in relation to navigating a vessel in a navigation channel or transit lane in the designated area.
