Short title

This order may be cited as the Dairy Industry (Market Milk Prices) Order 1999. 2 Commencement This order commences on 1 November 1999. 3 Definitions In this order-- "flavoured milk" means milk, other than UHT milk, with the addition of flavouring. "flavoured UHT milk" means UHT milk with the addition of flavouring. "UHT milk" means milk treated by-- (a) heating it to a temperature of at least 132șC for at least 1 second; and (b) packaging it in hermetically sealed packages as required by the Food Standards Code under the Australia New Zealand Food Authority Act 1991 (Cwlth). 4 Minimum price for purchase of milk by processor--Act, s 23(1)

The minimum price to be paid by a processor for milk purchased in the following periods is the price, expressed in cents, fixed under the schedule stated for the period-- (a) 1 November 1999 to 31 December 1999--schedule 1; (b) on or after 1 January 2000--schedule 2.

Repeal The Dairy Industry (Market Milk Prices) Order (No. 2) 1998 is repealed.
