23IāSenior Authorising Officer
(1) The
Chief Executive may, by notice in writing, appoint a person who holds the
qualifications, and has the experience, prescribed by the regulations to be
the Senior Authorising Officer.
(2) The
Senior Authorising Officer is to be a member of the Public Service and holds
office for a term, and on conditions, determined by the Chief Executive.
(3) The
Senior Authorising Officer is subject to the direction and control of the
Chief Executive.
(4) The
Chief Executive may vary or revoke an appointment under this section for any
reason the Chief Executive thinks fit.
