South Australian Current Acts South Australian Current Acts403—Declaration of safety zone around a structure or equipment
(1) The Minister may,
by notice published in the Gazette, establish a safety zone around a structure
or equipment in coastal waters.
(2) A safety zone may
only be established for the purpose of protecting the structure or equipment.
(3) The safety zone
may extend not more than 500 metres from the outer edge of the structure or
equipment.
(4) The notice may
apply to—
(a) all
vessels; or
(b) all
vessels except those specified in the notice.
