STATUTES AMENDMENT (BOARDS AND COMMITTEES--ABOLITION AND REFORM) ACT 2015 (NO 8 OF 2015) - SECT 114

114—Amendment of section 303—Regulations

Section 303—after subsection (8) insert:

        (8a)         The Governor may, by regulation, make additional provisions of a saving or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of the Statutes Amendment (Boards and Committees—Abolition and Reform) Act 2015

.

        (8b)         A provision of a regulation made under subsection (8a)

may, if the regulations so provide, take effect from the commencement of this subsection or from a later day.

        (8c)         To the extent to which a provision takes effect under subsection (8b)

from a day earlier than the day of the publication of the regulation in the Gazette, the provision does not operate to the disadvantage of a person by—

            (a)         decreasing the person's rights; or

            (b)         imposing liabilities on the person.
