Section 107(2)(q) and (r)—delete paragraphs (q) and (r)
Part 3—Transitional provisions
(1) Subject to this
Act, registration of a person as a teacher in force under Part 4 of the
Education Act 1972 immediately before the commencement of this clause,
will, on that commencement, continue as registration of the person as a
teacher under this Act for the balance of the term of the registration.
(2) Subject to this
Act, an authority in writing for the employment of an unregistered person as a
teacher or administrator granted by the Teachers Registration Board and in
force under Part 4 of the Education Act 1972 immediately before the
commencement of this clause, will, on that commencement, continue as a special
authority under Part 6 of this Act for the balance of the period for
which it was granted.
