11—Fee for Registrar's operations
(1) Each processor and
grower must pay the prescribed fee to the Registrar each financial year.
(2) Differential fees
may be prescribed for the purposes of subsection (1).
(3) The fee must be
paid at such intervals and in such manner as the Registrar directs by written
notice given to the processor or grower.
(4) If a processor or
grower fails to pay a fee as required under this section, the Registrar may
require the processor or grower, by written notice, to make good the default
and, in addition, to pay to the Registrar the amount prescribed as a penalty
for default.
(5) A fee (including
any penalty for default) payable by a person under this section is recoverable
as a debt due to the Crown.
