This legislation has been repealed.
7—Qualifications for general registration
A natural person, to be registered on the general register, must—
(a)
have—
(i)
one or more of the qualifications set out in Schedule 2;
or
(ii)
a certificate issued by the Australian Medical Council or
the Australian Medical Examining Council certifying that the person has
satisfactorily completed the examination conducted by that body; and
(b)
produce evidence that he or she has satisfactorily completed a period of
internship training in an institution recognised by the Board for the purpose;
and
(c) be
at least 21 years of age.
