Aboriginal Relics (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2017
This Bill accompanies the Aboriginal Relics Amendment Bill 2017, which includes an amendment
to change the title of the Aboriginal Relics Act 1975 to “Aboriginal Heritage Act 1975”.
This change requires amendments also to any legislation that references the current Aboriginal
Relics Act 1975. There are 6 pieces of legislation affected (4 Acts and 2 Regulations), each of
which includes a single reference to the current Act.
This Bill updates these references. It has no other effect.
