The Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority (Repeal) Bill 2011 function
is to abolish the Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority and return the
Authority's functions to the Hobart City Council.
The Bill also makes transitional arrangements for any matters that
are in progress at the time of the return of planning and
development powers to the Hobart City Council. :
The actual date of transfer will depend on how quickly the Bill passes
through Parliament so that it can commence on proclamations. This
is expected to be as soon as possible after 31 August 2011.
