(1) The functions of the Senior Practitioner are –(a) to advise the Secretary in relation to the provision of specialist disability services; and(b) to make recommendations to the Secretary as to how the provision of specialist disability services may be improved; and(c) any other functions specified by or under this Act.(2) In addition to any other power that may be exercised by the Senior Practitioner under this Act, the Senior Practitioner has the powers necessary to perform the functions of the Senior Practitioner.
